With over 17 years of experience as a nurse, clinical quality leader, and informatics expert, Jamie brings a rare blend of frontline understanding, analytical strength, and system-level improvement expertise.
Jamie’s career includes ICU nursing, hospital-wide quality leadership, and multi-region consulting oversight, including serving as Senior Quality Improvement Manager for AMI Expeditionary Healthcare, where she helped lead three of the six Pennsylvania RISE regions in a statewide initiative to strengthen quality and safety across long-term care. She has deep expertise in implementing national frameworks such as Age-Friendly Health Systems, TeamSTEPPS 3.0, and the AHRQ Safety Culture Surveys (SOPS), supporting organizations across the country in achieving measurable improvements in outcomes and culture.
A nationally board-certified expert in nursing informatics and healthcare quality, Jamie has been recognized by the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) as a Faces of Quality honoree for her leadership, innovation, and contributions to advancing the field. She is also the creator of the Escape2Age-Friendly™ experiential training program.

Bill Martyak brings more than 25 years of clinical and operational leadership to Vital Quality Healthcare Partners. A nationally certified physician assistant with extensive experience in family and rural health, Bill’s clinical background gives him deep insight into diverse care settings, patient needs, and provider workflows. His work spans health systems, long-term care, and community-based settings, where he has led teams, redesigned processes, and supported quality improvement at scale.
Bill served as Chief Clinical Officer for AMI Expeditionary Healthcare, where he helped lead three Pennsylvania RISE regions in a statewide quality transformation initiative. His leadership included clinical oversight, program development, and the delivery of large-scale education and improvement strategies.
As an Army National Guard medical officer, Bill adds high-level expertise in logistics, operations, high-reliability planning, and team leadership, skills that directly strengthen VQHP’s ability to support organizations through complex change and system redesign.
At VQHP, Bill oversees operational strategy, clinical program design, training development, and the delivery of consulting services. He ensures every program is clinically sound, operationally feasible, and tailored to the realities of frontline care. Bill also co-leads business development, client relations, partnership strategy, and organizational growth alongside Jamie.
